Frankie continues to improve!!! Almost all of his wounds
are closed now and all the scabs with hair have fallen off. He has almost brand
new skin covering his entire body!!! A clean slate for new fur to start to
grow! Frankie is going to have to go in for a major check up though, to see if
there are any underlying medical conditions that contributed to his condition,
and also he is going to need to see a specialist about his front left leg, the
joint seems very weak and it bends outward. Positively a lingering issue due to
malnutrition. Hopefully with proper vet care he will continue to get
stronger!!! Thank you all for your help!

Our dear friend Dio, an ACO at Miami Dade Animal Services, picked up these two puppies last night. They were in deplorable condition and he has personally taken them to a veterinarian to receive immediate care. Unfortunately he let us know today that the little girl died shortly after beginning treatment at the vet's office. The little boy is clinging to life and will remain hospitalized over night. We have offered to help him pay for these costs, please help us raise the money...
HELP WE DID!!! Frankie is now one week after being released from the hospital and already learning how to sit!
